LYRICS

Waking From A Dream

Waking from a dream
Crying
It’s all forgotten and I feel like dying
Perfection that I saw
Shining in the air
There’s magic shining from that stare

With just one wish
Id never have to leave this tearless bliss
So tonight as I rest
Soon Ill be at home at last

I know that im not
Gonna have your love
But maybe
Ill see you up above
And when I go to dream darling
It’s the closest ill ever be

With just one wish
Id never have to leave this tearless bliss
So tonight as I rest
Soon Ill be at home at last

when I go to dream
It’s the greatest time for me

Closing Time

Closing time
Time for you to go out go out into the world.
Closing time
Turn the lights up over every boy and every girl.
Closing time
One last call for alcohol so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time
You don't have to go home but you can't stay here.

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home

Closing time
Time for you to go back to the places you will be from.
Closing time
This room won't be open 'til your brothers or you sisters come.
So gather up your jackets, and move it to the exits
I hope you have found a
Friend.

Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

Yeah, I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home

Closing time
Time for you to go back to the places you will be from
v I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home

Closing time

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end

Sit And I Listen

I sit and I listen
to all that do enter
While praying in silence
my mind to sleep.
I ask and I wonder
how long til it happens?
I’m asking my sickness
to none but my sadness.

Memory fills me,
therefore, I see blindly.
The task is uncertain,
and so is its meaning
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere

You see it in motion
as the day tomorrow.
But what we don’t notice
is that it’s really inside.
As I sing this, it pauses
to breathe in the spirit,
The treasures around us:
the world and its people.

So if there is goodness,
please pay us a visit.
The path is uncertain;
please help us to find it
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere

Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere

Weeping Willow

time keeps on slipping away like the walk back from your doorway would you please know id love to be your weeping willow sleep deprived with cherry stained eyes shivering without a single ease except you entreat my touch dear girl with callus such wont you pull back your hair i want to meet your fixed stare my eyes are green are green longing for affection from this delectable butterfly falling from the sky with an amatroy ache in that part of me that lets me love you. sleep deprived with cherry stained eyes shivering without a single ease except you would you please know id love to be your weeping willow

Waiting On An Angel

waiting on an angel
one to carry me home
hope you come to see me soon
cause i don't want to go alone
i don't want to go alone

now angel won't you come by me
angel hear my plea
take my hand lift me up
so that i can fly with thee
so that i can fly with thee

and i'm waiting on an angel
and i know it won't be long
to find myself a resting place
in my angel's arms
in my angel's arms

so speak kind to a stranger
cause you'll never know
it just might be an angel come
knockin' at your door
knockin' at your door

and i'm waiting on an angel
and i know it won't be long
to find myself a resting place
in my angel's arms
in my angel's arms

waiting on an angel
one to carry me home
hope you come and see me soon
cause i don't want to go alone
i don't want to go alone
don't want to go
i don't want to go alone

Hallelujah

Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew her
She tied you
To a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light
In every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though
It all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I Will Always Love You

If I should stay,
I would only be in your way.
So I'll go, but I know
I'll think of you ev'ry step of the way.

And I will always love you.
I will always love you.
You, my darling you. Hmm.

Bittersweet memories
that is all I'm taking with me.
So, goodbye. Please, don't cry.
We both know I'm not what you, you need.

And I will always love you.
I will always love you.

I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have all you've dreamed of.
And I wish to you, joy and happiness.
But above all this, I wish you love.

And I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I, I will always love you.

You, darling, I love you.
Ooh, I'll always, I'll always love you.

Mountain's Edge

I walk, she stays
and the light
will be over soon.
Just a voice
Of a ghost from a land
That has forgotten us
And the thought
Of you lonely now
Brings chills to my saddened spine
O dear, O dear
My thoughts are with your tears tonight.

I once held a face
In the palm of my deepest eyes.
It was beautiful
in its own tragic way
You were caught up
in a lengthy maze of choices
that were not yours entirely to make.

And just when you thought
I was leaving you
down there,
I gathered you up
wrapped you tight in my care.
And just when you thought
I was leaving you
down there,
I picked up your smile
and carried it over the river
to the mountain’s edge,
to the mountain’s edge.
